FAQ for WS1150

Batteries to use

-         Only use good quality alkaline batteries.

-         Do not mix battery types or use rechargeable batteries, as the voltage is only 1.2v per battery.

Pressure setting

-         Please ensure that only relative pressure is displayed before starting to change the pressure settings.

-         Push the set button 2 times, then push the "+" button to toggle between relative and absolute pressure setting, leaving it on the relative setting.

1.       Hold down the set button for 3 seconds, a "0" should show at the top of the screen.

2.       Push the set button 9 times, to get to the pressure setting.

3.       Use the "+" key to increase or "min/max" to decrease the setting.

4.       Push the set button 3 more times to return to normal screen.

-         Note: if no button is pushed during the above set up for 9 seconds the

-         Procedure will have to be repeated.

Time setting

After the batteries have been inserted into the transmitter, insert the batteries into the base station within 1 min. Wait for the outdoor temp to show before starting to set the time.

Note: If no button is pushed in 9 seconds, the display will return to normal and the procedure will have to be started again.

-         Hold down the set button for 3 seconds, a "0" will show.

-         Push the set button again, a 12h or 24h will show, push the "+" button to Change to 12 or 24 hour time reading.

-         Push the set button again and the "hour" will flash, push the "+" button to change the hour setting.

-         Push the set button again and the "minutes" will flash, push the "+" button to change the setting.

-         Push the set button again and the "year" will flash, push the "+" button to change the year, or the min/max button to go back a digit.

-         Push the set button again and the "month" will flash, push the "+" button to change the month, or the min/max button to go back a digit.

-         Push the set button again and the "date" will flash, push the "+" button to change the date, or the min/max button to go back a digit

-         Wait 9 seconds and the display will return to normal.

-         complete.

 

Transmitter mounting place

We recommend mounting the transmitter in a sheltered location out of direct sun light Eg. under the roof eave and away from water splashing

No outdoor temperature

-         Remove all the batteries from the transmitter and base display station and wait 2 mins.

-         Start by installing the transmitter batteries and within 1 min install the base display batteries.

-         Leave alone for 2 mins to allow communication to take place.

-         If the outdoor temp has not returned please check the battery voltage on all batteries for a full 1.5v.

Resetting min/max

The min/max reading is based on the data's from unit powered up.

To reset the min/max reading, press SET key for 2s while the minimum or maximum reading was chosen, the min/max reading will reset to current reading.

For example, reset the indoor temperature maximum reading:

-         Press the MIN/MAX key to enter the maximum mode, MAX icon show up and the general Max record will be flashing.

-         Press the + key the second time
Indoor temperature maximum reading will be flashing.

-         Press the set key for 2 seconds
The indoor temperature maximum reading will be re set to the current Temperature reading.
