company profile

TESA Limited was founded in 1968 by present managing director Mr. Bob Burstall MNZM. The company's initial foray into the electronic industry was based around television valves and a limited array of components. In 1973 the company's product range and client base had increased to a stage where larger premises were required to accomodate the growth the company was experiencing. Premises in Manukau Road, Royal Oak, Auckland were found and these were to be the company's head office for the following twelve years.

In addition branches were now operating in the South Island and Wellington making TESA Limited a truly national distribution company to the electronics industry.

The company has continued its policy of sourcing and acquiring whenever possible, product that meets the industries requirements. The acquisition of the Varta agency means that the company in its present position, now caters for a large cross section of the commercial industry.

The company still operates from the South Island and Wellington with Head Office in Penrose, Auckland. Through diversification TESA Limited now have products that are suitable for, amongst others: electronic, computer, photographic, video and pharmaceutical outlets. A far cry from its early conception.
