Any statements and data contained in this website are intended for general information purposes only and are given on good faith. The information is given in a descriptive way and does not purport to guarantee any products or extend the warranty services given in our Terms of Trade. Tesa shall not be obligated to supply any items included in this catalogue which in our opinion are incorrectly described and/or priced. E & O.E.
All trade prices are shown exclusive of GST. Tesa reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice. For current prices refer to our website www.tesa.co.nz, or contact our sales office.
Payment shall be made at the time of purchase unless a trade account is held with Tesa. If a trade account is held with Tesa payment is strictly 20th of the month following the invoice date. If payment is in arrears Tesa may withhold delivery of goods on order until the balance outstanding has been received in full. If the customer defaults in any payments, the customers business is sold or wound up, goes into receivership, or becomes bankrupt all outstanding payments to Tesa shall immediately become due. All costs incurred by Tesa to collect debts shall be charged to the customer. (Please refer to Title to Goods section in our Terms of Trade)
A Comprehensive credit application is a requirement for new trade customers. Tesa reserves the right to withdraw or refuse credit for any reason at any time.
When a certain product is no longer available Tesa will, where possible substitute an equal or better quality product. All specifications are subject to change without notice.
Tesa will endeavour to supply goods by the due date but shall be under no obligation for the delay or consequence thereof caused.
All goods purchased will be subject to a service fee to cover order processing, handling & freight. Back ordered goods will be subject to a lower value service fee.
Title to Goods and Personal Properties Securities Act 1999
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these terms of trade the parties agree that:
1. These terms of trade constitute a Security Agreement and shall also include any order, invoice or other document insofar as it describes goods supplied to the customer.
2. Title to goods supplied by Tesa does not pass to the customer until all money owing by the customer to Tesa has been paid in full. Until Tesa has been paid in full for all goods, the customer shall hold the goods as bailee and as agent for Tesa and the customer shall store the goods in such a way that it is clear they are the property of Tesa, and store in such a manner that they will not deteriorate. Prior to obtaining title to the goods, the customer shall be entitled to on-sell the goods to a third party as agent for Tesa provided the customer shall be fully accountable to Tesa for all proceeds derived from any such sale and shall hold such proceeds in trust for Tesa.
If a component is found to be faulty at time of installation & within 3 months of invoice date Tesa will cheerfully replace it a no extra charge. This offer is conditional on the component being returned with the invoice relating to the order. Varta Products carry a 12-month leakage warranty. Tesa cannot be held responsible for goods misused or damaged by the customer.
Claims & Returns
All claims must be made within 7days of receipt of goods and accompanied with the invoice relating to the order. Tesa will credit goods damaged in transit only if the damage has been noted on the delivery docket of a freight agent commissioned by Tesa relating to that claim. Tesa is under no obligation to accept returns where no fault lies with Tesa. If Tesa chooses to accept re-saleable product from the customer, the stock must be returned in original packaging ‘as new’ and deemed by Tesa as re-saleable upon site of goods returned. A re-stocking fee of 20% may apply. PCP (Proprietary Component Parts) for Sanyo, Sony, JVC, Hitachi, Akai & Sharp are all indent orders and are non-returnable.
Tesa will dispatch all orders the same day if received by 4.30pm with the expectation of delivery to the customer by the next business day. In the Auckland area orders received before 12.00 noon are expected to be delivered the same day. The Tesa Team randomly check deliveries each working day. Any order received by Tesa from the customer shall constitute acceptance of these terms of trade.
